Punteks was established in 1995 to recycle textile waste.
In 2006, a new investment was realized and a felt line with the latest technological innovations was put into operation. It can produce felt in weights between 500 gr/m2 and 3000 gr/m2. The current felt line produces by bonding synthetic fibers such as polypropylene or polyester bicomponent by utilizing low melting temperatures (thermobonding).
The felts produced are used in the white goods and automotive sectors.
Established in Torbalı on an area of 30.000 m2, 15.000 m2 of which is closed, Punteks Tekstil exports 50% of its production to many countries, mostly European countries, and offers a global partnership to all its customers.
PUNTEKS, which is not only a felt producer but also a converting company, expanded its converting production in the second half of 2022 and started production in its new branch in Manisa OSB. Again in Manisa OSB, the construction of the new factory, which will be built on a closed area of nearly 7,000 m2 in the first stage, started at the beginning of 2023. PUNTEKS Manisa branch moved to its new factory, which was completed rapidly, in May 2024 and continues its production in its new and modern facilities.
In order to ensure the quality standards of the sectors we serve, Punteks has a modern laboratory with the necessary test equipment for testing felt.
